DIY Tuna Catnip Cat Treat | DIY Cat Treats

DIY Tuna Catnip Cat Treat. We decided to try another tuna treat with our 4 rescue cats.

Watch the video to see the results. Some of our cats are picky when it comes to treats.

1 can tuna in oil
1 cup rice flour or oat flour
1 egg
1 tbsp dried catnip
extra olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine drained tuna, rice or oat flour, egg and catnip. Mix thoroughly in a food processor or a bowl. The mixture should hold together but not be too sticky. If the mixture is too dry you can add extra olive oil to help it bind together. Roll dough out to about 1/4 thick. Cut out small sized treats and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until dry and lightly golden brown. Allow treats to cool before giving to your cats. Store in an air tight container.

Taste Time
Out of the 4 cats, Brody liked the treats the most but they weren’t as big of a hit as we would have liked. That doesn’t mean your cat won’t like them.
